What a difference a weekend of work can make!

The wainscoting was ripped off the front wall, where again, we found giant holes in the drywall and in some places, none at all!
It was easier to just chuck it out the front window rather than carrying it through the house. Keith just has to remember to move it before we get more snow!!
This is our "Mike Holmes", Dave. We are learning a lot from him!The new drywall is up and it's been mudded a couple times. More sanding to do this afternoon.With the baseboard heater pulled out, I was able to move the fridge for the first time since we moved in almost 4 years ago. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, but the walls still needed prepping with TSPe.
Then the scary primer went on what will be, my red wall. Sydney loved it and wants to keep the Barbie pink. It makes me think of Pepto Bismal!
