Yup, You've Got Bankers

Our renovations are starting out well.
Took us half an hour to open a can of worms. Keith pulled out the wainscoting and found out why the wainscoting was there....it was put up by a lazy person to hide all the holes he made! Seems the outlets on the living room and kitchen side of the dividing wall were after thoughts, as was the thermostat for the baseboard heater. I'm guessing the light switch attached to the outlet was even later, possibly explaining the mismatched piese of wainscoting. Argh.

So now we are going to learn how to drywall too.

Man, they even left all the broken pieces of drywall in the wall!

I'm getting scared. Really scared!



Oh...no driver's permit in the mail box today. Maybe tomorrow.
