Our friend Natasha, who has been working for the Canadian Cancer Society, invited us to work with her at this year's Relay For Life. In light of Gramma Shirley's diagnosis, we jumped at the opportunity.
If you can't read the shirts, Cameron's says "Real Men Wear Pink" and Sydney's says "Please find a cure...before I grow boobs!".
The back's say "Hey Cancer! My Gramma's gonna kick your ASS!" and "I'm wearing pink for Gramma Shirley". We got a lot of wonderful comments from people around us.
We were stationed at the "Snack Shack" selling an incredible amount of candy, cotton candy, fudge, popcorn and slushies!
I can't even begin to describe all the emotional sites. The top three for me were the lady being pushed around in her wheelchair hooked up to her chemo machine surrounded by people in Super Hero capes, the baby in a yellow "Survivor" t-shirt and the little boy with the "7 years cancer free" balloon who barely looked to be 7 years old.

The kids purchsed a luminary to honour Gramma Shirley's fight.
