Day 5

Putting the siding up is slower than I expected. They guys worked frantically til dark last night to get the front finished before the weekend though. Next week they have to do the North side of the house and then cap all the windows in white. We have to put up a new white lamp, numbers and doorbell and we are looking for a white fan exhaust hood. We've only been able to find black so far. It's dark and rainy out this morning, so the picture doesn't look really spectacular. The guys have demolished my cedar hedges so some new landscaping will be in order this summer. I'm thinking window boxes might be a nice addition now that we will have big ledges!!
