Wedding Tour

Our friends Jay and Heather were married this weekend in Bancroft.

I hadn't travelled through this part of Ontario before, so we took our time, explored the wilderness and scenery while doing some Geocaches along the way.
We stopped in at a cache at a beach on the Lake of Bays. We had this little guy with us, that we took from a cache in New Liskeard, who is trying to get to Hawaii, so after he did some surfing we dropped him there. He's already been picked up again by another Geocacher!
This is Haliburton, viewed from the Skyline road side park. There was some kind of festival going on way down there, so the sounds of bagpipes floated up to us.

We came up to this Jeep on the highway. Looks like it enjoys some off road touring! Notice the snorkel for the air intake on the left?
On the way home, we drove through Algonquin Park. Keith and I honeymooned here 7 years ago, so it was really nice to visit again. We stopped in at the Visitor's Center to show the animals to the kids.

Just outside the Park, we stopped in to another cache in this lovely location.
Quick bum change and we were on our way home.
