I Have My Van Back!!

First I lost my license. Then I got it back but Keith changed jobs and couldn't car pool, so he had to take the van. And now, after a year (and 6 days to be precise) of taking the bus, begging for rides and being late for things, all is well in the world, and I am back to being a full time Caravan Driving Dancing Mom (we missed the soccer registrations this year and I we couldn't afford a Volvo) thanks to this new (to us) Honda Civic! This is Keith's new baby to drive back and forth to work with, which will save us on gas and my sanity. We still need to pimp his ride with some new carseats for the kids and a block heater and possibly some of those spinning hub cap things and one of those lights that make the underside glow, but that can wait for a bit. She's already much cooler than the "Old Man Beige" Camry and the Caravan.

I emptied all Keith's "Carbage" out and reclaimed my ride tonight despite the nasty cold weather. As soon as it warms up I'll be taking it to the carwash and the industrial vacuum cleaners to suck out all the ground in goldfish crackers, road salt and God-Knows-What-Else. Maybe I'll get a lift kit and some big tires.

Hi Shannon!
Can I steal your word, "carbage"? It is by far my most favorite new word! I use "carversations" a lot to describe Eliza's one sided car conversations, but carbage is just brilliant!
Beautiful dance pictures too. I get to do that in a few weeks.

I had a 2004 Honda Civic SE and I LOVED it! Awesome on gas, really easy to park, fun to drive and it had an awesome CD player! I'm sure you guys will enjoy the new car :)
