We took an early summer vacation this past week at our beautiful cottage on Nettie Lake. The weather wasn't so great, but we still had a lot of fun and caught some fish (Sydney too!) and our breaths after a busy year of school, dance, swimming and mine rescue training.
As Cameron would say, "Feesh!"
Cookie Monster...or maybe just Monster? 
On an off and on drizzly day, we went and checked out Hockey Heritage North (a hard place to take decent pictures) and then to Swastika to feed the ducks at the pond (easy place to take pics!)
We had fun goofing around with the ducks.Made you look!!
Then a much needed rest, after a hard day. The mosquitoes were too bad to have a campfire so we settled for the next best thing...a Disney Video!
Of course, Mommy had to get creative and put her new Photography 101 skills to good use!
The Blue Heron took a stroll accross our beach one morning and left what Daddy called "Pterodactyl Prints" in the sand.
And on our last day, we went to play at the park on the waterfront in Larder Lake before visiting our friends and their new baby.
